LEES 2023 – Sankt Pölten, Austria
The Low-Energy Electrodynamics in Solids 2023 conference will be held in Sankt Pölten, Austria between 25.-30.06.2023.
Scope
LEES 2023 (“Low-Energy Electrodynamics in Solids”) is a forum for the interdisciplinary research on low-energy (microwave, terahertz, infrared) electrodynamics in solids and in exotic condensed phases.
Theoretical and experimental methods including broadband, time-resolved and near-field optical and photoemission spectroscopies, inelastic neutron/X-ray scattering, scanning tunneling microscopy/spectroscopy will be discussed. There will be an emphasis on the electronic and magnetic properties of quantum materials and their applications for future technologies.
This conference will be the 15th LEES meeting and follows the highly successful workshops at Bad Honnef (1993), Trest (1995), Ascona (1997), Pecs (1999), Montauk (2002), Kloster Banz (2004), Tallinn (2006), Vancouver-Whistler (2008), Les Diablerets (2010), Napa Valley (2012), Loire Valley (2014), Lake Biwako (2016), Portonovo (2018), and Portland (2021, online).
